I recently visited @tatacelo_kainansapalaisdaan in, Valenzuela. The nipa huts (is that the right word?) by the river is one of the most relaxing places for a meal. It's a difficult location to get to but oh man is it worth it.

Of course, I couldn’t visit Tata Celo without trying the food. I am a glutton afterall. I started with the Crispy Crablets. Perfectly fried with excellent crunch. Then came the Baked Scallops, super buttery and satisfying without going overboard.

For the mains, the Inihaw na Tuna Belly was probably my favourite. perfectly girlled and tender with a bit of smokiness. The Binagoongan Baboy is awesome simply because of the heavy use of bagoong, and the Gising Gising may have been the spiciest thing I have eaten in all of the Philippines. And if you know me I can't go anywhere with Dinakdakan on the menu and not try it. This was by far the "chunkiest" dinakdakan I have ever had and as strange as it sounds, it has a mild sweetness to it. But let's not tell anybody that pig brains involved here or they won't try it.
